1 Can I customize the package duration if I want to stay longer at a specific Dham?

2 Is it possible to start the Yatra from Delhi instead of Haridwar?

Our standard package originates from Haridwar. However, we can arrange for a pickup from Delhi (Airport or Railway Station) at an additional cost. The drive from Delhi to Haridwar takes approximately 4-5 hours, and we can seamlessly integrate this into your itinerary.

3 What is the booking policy and how much advance do I need to pay?

 To secure your slots, especially during the peak months of May and June, we require an advance booking deposit. The remaining balance is typically payable before the start of the journey in Haridwar. Please call us to confirm current deposit rates.

4 Does the package include helicopter tickets for Kedarnath

No, helicopter tickets are not included. These tickets are controlled by the Uttarakhand Government and must be booked by the pilgrims directly through the official IRCTC HeliYatra website. We strongly advise booking these as soon as the portal opens (usually 2 months prior), as they sell out in minutes. We can, however, guide you on the timing and process.

5 What kind of vehicles are used for the Yatra

We prioritize comfort and safety on mountain roads.

• Small Groups (4-6): Toyota Innova, Innova Crysta, or Maruti Ertiga.
• Medium Groups (12): Tempo Traveller (Push-back seats).
• Large Groups: Luxury 2×2 Buses. All vehicles are hill-compliant and driven by experienced local drivers.

6 I am a senior citizen. Is this trip suitable for me?

The Yatra is physically demanding, especially the trek to Kedarnath (16km) and Yamunotri (6km). However, you can hire ponies, palkis (palanquins), or kandi (basket carriers) at your own cost to avoid walking. We recommend consulting your doctor before booking, especially if you have respiratory or heart conditions.

7 What type of hotels will we be staying in?

In Haridwar, you will stay in Oaktel-managed properties which offer premium comfort. In the upper Himalayan regions (Barkot, Guptkashi, etc.), accommodation options are limited. We select the best available “Standard” to “Deluxe” guest houses and hotels that meet our strict hygiene and safety protocols.

8 Is the food suitable for people with dietary restrictions?

Yes. All meals provided (Breakfast and Dinner) are vegetarian and freshly prepared. If you require “No Onion/No Garlic” (Jain food) or have specific allergies, please inform us at the time of booking so we can alert our kitchen teams and hotel partners.

9 What documents do I need to carry?

You must carry a valid Government ID proof (Aadhar Card, Voter ID, or Passport) for every member of your group. These are required for hotel check-ins and police checkpoints. Additionally, a valid Yatra Registration Pass (e-pass) from the Uttarakhand Tourism portal is mandatory.

10 What happens if the Yatra is halted due to landslides or bad weather?

Mountain weather is unpredictable. If the administration halts the Yatra for safety, we will adjust the itinerary to the best of our ability. However, any extra costs incurred for additional hotel nights or meals due to natural calamities or roadblocks will have to be borne by the guest directly.
