Our stakeholders, associates and guests want us to demonstrate how seriously we face issues, such as climate change, water scarcity, utility consumption and environmental preservation. While integrating sustainability across our value chain and mitigating climate-related risk, we are working to reduce our environmental impacts by sustainably managing our energy and water use, reducing our waste and increasing the use of renewable energy.
Protection of the environment and sustainability are two key targets within our wider operations. We help as much as we can in reducing pollution and saving natural resources and energy. To achieve this, we work in collaboration with our staff and guests to…
Due to the global and area water shortage we are facing, we value saving water as being vital. However, 2020 was a challenging year due to Covid19, that resulted in much lower occupancies in all our hotels. This resulted in bigger water consumption per guest per night.
We gradually reduce the flow of all faucets by changing filters. We inform guests of ways to save water via in-room information leaflets, through the hotels’ TV channels and with announcements in the common areas. We inform and train our staff on saving water on annual basis accordingly as well. Finally, we use the reverse osmosis procedure, to be able to use the treated waste water.
